There are several ways to get be a part of the 1093 Rails to Trails project.
Join a Committee
You can show your support for the 1093 Rails to Trails project by joining a committee and helping with the planning and implementation of the project. Committees include:
- Steering Committee: The decision-makers and planners who will keep the project organized.
- Resources/Advisory Committee: Subject-matter experts and impacted community members who can provide insight for parts of the project or the project as a whole.
- Implementation Committee/Implementers/Funders/Supporters: Individuals, groups, businesses, property owners, and others who will help get this project on-the-ground by volunteering time and talent, by helping identify funders or by providing funding, and by supporting the project through engagement and promotion throughout the community.
Provide Feedback
You can show your support for the 1093 Rails to Trails project by coming to a meeting and/or asking questions and giving your feedback. It's important that this community project be developed by the community.
